How does it work?
Step 1: Contact Us
Reach out to our team through the contact form below to book your at home visit. Please note all at home tests are an additional cost.
Step 2: Scheduling
A Switch Health representative will be in touch within 24 hours to book your at home test. Please note, this service is currently only available to those in the Greater Toronto Area.
Step 3: Home Visit
A Switch Health nurse, trained in
specimen collection and transportation
of dangerous goods, will arrive at
your house to test you. The nurse
will be on-site for around 5 minutes
and will perform a quick symptom
check prior to testing.
Step 4: Laboratory Processing
Specimens arrive at our fully private laboratory for test processing. Switch Health's partner laboratory runs Health Canada approved tests.
Step 5: Results
Your results will be available next day on the Switch Health Patient Portal, ASMO. You will be notified by text message or email when your results are available on ASMO.

What areas do you service for at home visits?
Switch Health at home visits are currently available in most of the Greater Toronto Area (City of Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Vaughan, Markham, Pickering), Calgary, and Halifax. If you live outside of these areas, please reach out and we will work to find a tailored solution for you.
How much does a home visit cost?
The cost per test is $160 + HST. An additional service fee beginning at $75 will be added depending on your location. We will confirm the final cost with you at the time of booking.
How quickly can I schedule an appointment?
A Switch Health representative will respond to your request within 48 hours between Tuesday and Saturday from 9am and 5pm EST.
When will I get my results?
Your results will be available same day or next day on the Switch Health Patient Portal, ASMO. You will be notified by text message or email when your results are available on ASMO. If you encounter any issues, please reach out to email@example.com.
Can I cancel my at home visits?
Due to the scheduling involved in at home visits, we request at least 48 hours notice for a cancellation.
